This team works on the same aspects previously described. The research undertaken by this team covers several axes. The first objective concerns the exploitation of neural networks for the recognition of handwritten characters. A tool is already operational and which effectively achieves this recognition but its improvement is necessary. The second objective concerns the exploitation of sensor networks for critical surveillance. The third concerns the recognition of faces and video content. A set of articles has just appeared. We have proposed data analysis methods for this purpose. The fourth objective revolves around the development of an Algerian search engine. This search engine is a challenge. A large part is already operational. We are currently working on developing an efficient and optimal index. This part is uneven. We say this is the most optimal. The fifth objective revolves around the establishment of multi-criteria methods to respond to requests. In this context, we have already published a new algorithm which calculates the Top-K and we have just carried out a new dynamic method for the calculation of skylines. The sixth objective is knowledge extraction using data mining methods.
